La Hacienda Pozo de Ranas is located in the city of Mérida, Venezuela, at approx. 2,000 ms of altitude on the 7th parallel in the North hemisphere, within the Andes mountain range. The temperature always varies between 10ºC and 27ºC. Due to the latitude, the seasons like the summer, autumn, winter and spring are not present. There are only two periods which are determined by the wet and dry weather, these are: rainy, from May to October, and the dry one, from November to April.
